Hello there,

My acronym name is M.E.A.A. (full name 34 letters long), thus website name. Was spontaneous at the moment, and it sounded like “Me ah surviving?” when people ask how i’m doing. lol

So, my blog is about finding light in life’s challenges as I know it’s hard to see the hope in pain, uncertainty, and/or changes.

My Testimony

I was a normal teen finishing the eighth grade when I had an earache that would not go away. Thanks to my mom’s determination, after a few scans, I was diagnosed with cancer two months before my 15th birthday.

As my health started to decrease at fast speed (months into treatments), my oncologist told me I had about a year to live. But my Father said otherwise, and here I am 10+ years later.

Although I have disabilities from the treatments– vision and hearing loss, fused jawbone, random muscle spasms, and more– I have learned that life is not defined by what’s taken from us, but by the light we choose to see in the midst of it.
