Hello,

My name is Monteirra (M.E.A.A. is an acronym for my full name)

This blog exists for anyone trying to find light in life’s challenges. I understand how hard it is to see hope in pain, uncertainty, and unexpected changes. I wanted to share reflections, faith, and encouragement with you as you are still surviving.

My Testimony

I was a teen finishing the eighth grade when I had an earache that would not go away. After a few scans, I was diagnosed with cancer.

As my health started to decrease, my oncologist told me I had about a year to live. But my Father said otherwise, and here I am 10+ years later.

Although I have disabilities from the treatments, I have learned that life is not defined by what’s taken from us, but by the light we choose to see in the midst of it.
