We all have times when our worst moments show up uninvited. Somewhere along the way, we start believing a quiet lie: “This is who I am now.”
“Too Far Gone” is a lie
One of the most dangerous thoughts we carry is that we’ve gone too far and somehow we’ve crossed a line that grace won’t reach.
But if that were true, grace would not be grace. Grace does not avoid brokenness. It meets it head-on. It steps in while we are still a mess saying, “I’m not done with you.”
Although we feel like we should earn it or fix it, we are flawless not because of what we’ve done, but because of what’s been done for us.
Living Like You’re Forgiven
A lot of us believe we’re forgiven, but we don’t live like it. Holding onto guilt keeps us stuck.
We need to let go of who we were, and release the weight on our souls.
We need to remember that God’s grace already took the guilt away from us.
Remember
You don’t have to earn a new identity. You’ve already been given one.
Not broken.
Not disqualified.
Not too far gone.
We are flawless because grace said we could rise.
